“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”. When I’m ready to workout I always have a plan and I always meal prep on Sundays.
Never workout not knowing what you are doing. Progress comes to those who plan. Never come to the gym and sit on a bicycle and try out machines. Get help and learn what to do. Working one muscle a day works. Ladies don’t be afraid of weights you won’t get bulky you will get lean AF. In the gym I workout 6x a week. 4 weight training days for an hour, 2 cardio days for 30mins and at least 2 core workouts 4x a week. I don’t do much cardio because my goal is to be lean AF not skinny AF. Too much cardio can decrease muscle mass. Why do I workout so much? Because I have huge goals that working out a lot of what I need. I’m never motivated to workout but I’m pretty disciplined and determined. I struggle getting my workout started but my pre workout allows me to get that pump I need to start and finish my workout.
When I workout at home I follow home workouts that are proven to work that come with meal plans and a cooking show with my fav supplements. I even get a discount WEPA. I don’t have time to create my own plans although I am a certified personal trainer but this entrepreneur has too much to do so following something already created fits my lifestyle. As far as supplements I drink a natural pre workout, superfood shake they helps with cravings immune system and more plus a post workout protein and helps with soreness and rebuilding my muscles when they are completed done from a crazy workout. I eat real food but I supplement because my goals of increasing muscle mass takes eating a lot of food so using supplements helps so I’m not eating ALL day.
Nutrition is important don’t expect results if you workout and then eat a whole box of pizza after 🤦🏻♀️. I follow a container system that’s so freaking easy to use or I track macros which is not fun but allows me to be more flexible with my eating. I do enjoy treat meals like hooters, insomnia cookies 🍪 and dominos pizza 🍕 Don’t judge 🤷🏻♀️ its all about balance. I hate veggies too so you won’t be seeing me eat salads all day 😂 People who are fit don’t just eat salads. There are so many delicious healthy foods. That’s why I love my online access they had a cooking show. I never get tired of food because I have so many choices plus every restaurant has healthier options you just have to be smart to choose it vs the shit that is going to give you a muffin top.
This is my life but I didn’t start here so start where you are. My first ever workout was in 2012 and I threw up. I was completely out of shape unable to Plank and do a “girly” push up. If I can do it so can you. Kick your excuses in the freaking ass.
